A Woman's Guide To Spiritual Warfare

A Woman's Guide To Spiritual Warfare: How To Protect Your Home, Family And Friends From Spiritual Darkness by Quin Sherrer and Ruthanne Garlock is a Christian classic, selling over 300,000 copies. It was originally written in 1991, but now, 26 years later, it's been completely revised and updated and given a beautiful new cover. The back cover says:

"Groundbreaking Spiritual Warfare Book for Women, Now Revised and Updated

Women everywhere face battles that threaten to overwhelm them.

A friend's depression. A child's destructive choices. A neighbor's broken marriage. A husband's failed business. A bad medical report. But you don't have to watch hopelessly from the sidelines. This is a crucial time for praying women to take their stand.

In this newly revised and updated edition, you'll discover sound biblical guidelines, inspiring stories, and practical steps to help you see victory on the battlefront. As you understand your authority in the risen Christ, you will learn how to overcome forces of evil, help loved ones break cycles of bondage, and make your home a place of refuge from spiritual attack--all through the power of prayer.

Here is the field guide for every wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend ready to fight for all she holds dear."

This book is truly an exhaustive resource for women who want to learn about spiritual warfare and how to fend off Satan's attacks. This incredible book covers many, many topics which are relevant to today, including abortion, divorce, pornography, and much much more. It also includes "Arsenal Scriptures for Spiritual Warfare", an index of Scriptures sorted by topic that you can pray and use specifically for your situation. There is also a section at the end titled "Prayers and Declarations Based on Scripture" that includes specific prayers you can pray for different problems you are having. I plan to copy these down on index cards and keep them handy so I always have a prayer and declaration to claim when I don't know the words to pray for a particular situation. This is the best book I've ever read on spiritual warfare. Quin and Ruthanne write in such an easy to read style that I felt like I was chatting with friends over coffee while I read this book. I also loved all the personal stories they included from their years and years of ministry and missions. I highly recommend this book - every Christian woman should read it and refer to it often!

I received a copy of this book from Chosen in order to provide an honest and unbiased review. All opinions are my own.
