Every Bride Has Her Day

Every Bride Has Her Day is the third, and I believe final, book in Janice Thompson's Brides With Style series. I didn't realize this was the last book in a series when I ordered it, but I decided to give it a shot anyway and read it without reading the prior books, then decide if I liked it enough to order the first two books. What really drew me in was the super cute cover and the description. The back cover reads:

"Another Delightful Romance from the Queen of Romantic Comedy

Katie Fisher is ecstatic. Pro basketball star Brady James has proposed, and she can't wait to start planning their life together. She's confident she'll make it down the aisle this time--but it still may be easier said than done. A high-society Houston bride has Katie and the Cosmopolitan Bridal team scrambling to get the perfect dress done in time for her spectacular wedding. Meanwhile, Katie finds herself bombarded with everyone's competing visions regarding her own special day--and she's beginning to worry that her own ideas will get lost in the crossfire. Will she ever manage to settle all of the details for her perfect day? Or will bridal shop chaos and overzealous friends and family make a mess of everything?

Fan favorite Janice Thompson gives readers what they've been clamoring for: another funny, romantic romp with a Texas twang."

Every Bride Has Her Day is the quintessential romantic comedy book with a Christian spin. I was sucked in on the first page and loved all of the quirky yet lovable characters. I did have some trouble understanding some of the characters and plot lines at times since I didn't have the full backstory and was coming in at the end of the story, but that's my fault, not the fault of the author. I loved this book so much that it ended up not mattering that I didn't have the full backstory - I just enjoyed the full and complex story this book provided, while knowing I'd be ordering the first two books (Every Bride Needs A Groom and Every Bride Gets Confused) as soon as a finished it because I loved it so much! This is a sugary-sweet read, perfect for the beach or to bring along on your vacation. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a good Christian romance with a hearty dose of humor.

I received a copy of this book from Revell in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
