Mark Of Distinction

I was so excited to receive book 2 in the Price Of Privilege series! I absolutely loved the first book, Born Of Persuasion, but it ended on a total cliffhanger so I was dying to read Mark Of Distinction.

I loved the story. It was a page turner like the first one. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't figure out how on earth Julia was going to end up with Edward when we got down to the last chapter and they still weren't together. The addition of yet another love interest was driving me crazy!

Negatives about this book - Edward, Henry, Elizabeth, and Mrs. Windham were noticeably absent for 90% of the book, which was a bummer, because I really missed them! There was basically a whole new cast of characters interacting with Julia for the majority of this book. Also, I found two typos in this book. I know everyone makes mistakes, but it feels unprofessional. I felt like Edward and Julia being reunited in the last chapter was way too rushed and the way they were able to finally get married seemed a bit too hard to believe.

All in all, I'm just really happy that Julia and Edward are finally married and together again. I really want to know what happened to Nancy. I hope she gets brought back in the third book! Can't wait for book 3 and I'm not sure I can wait a whole year for the conclusion to the story!

I received a copy of this book from Tyndale Blog Network in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
