Fly A Little Higher

Fly A Little Higher by Laura Sobiech is the story of 17 year old, Zach, and his mom, Laura. They find out Zach has terminal cancer and a very bleak prognosis when he's just 17 years old. Laura gives his life into God's hands, just praying that his life would touch others in a great way. This is the story of his battle with cancer and how he touched many lives in his short time left in this world.

Fly A Little Higher is a touching story of love, hope, faith, and loss. Although cancer books tend to depress me, and this one did a bit (I mean, a 17 year old is dying), it was truly uplifting as well. Zach and his family made the most of every moment of his situation to truly make an impact on the world. Their great faith in the face of great tragedy was very inspiring and convicting. I recommend this book to anyone who likes memoirs or is looking for a story to build their own faith.
