Walmart Trip 8/19

For those of us who were fortunate enough to receive the "art of summer striptease" coupon booklet in the mail, we received some amazing coupons! Despite its unfortunate name (striptease, really?!) it had some wonderful coupons, including three freebies! I took the three best ones and headed to Walmart. I purchased: -1 Skintimate shave gel FREE -1 box Playtex Gentle Glide FREE -1 box Playtex Sport FREE Total tab was $11.32 and all I paid was the 91¢ sales tax, for a total savings of $10.41, or 92%!

Albertsons Trip 8/19

Did a quick trip to Albertsons tonight! They are running one of my favorite sales, buy 10 selected items, get $5 off. Of course I always pick items I have coupons for! :) Today I bought: -4 jars Ragu pasta sauce @ 49¢ ea. -2 jars Skippy peanut butter @ 99¢ ea. -2 Wishbone salad dressings @ 49¢ ea. -2 bottles Kraft BBQ sauce @ 79¢ ea. There was a $2 off any one canister of kool-aid coupon stuck to the BBQ sauce so I threw in one of those @ $1.69. :) Altogether my bill totalled up to $37.69 and with the sales and my coupons I paid just $8.09 for a total savings of $29.60, or 79%! Coupons I used: -2 $1/2 Ragu -1 $1/2 Skippy -2 50¢/1 Wishbone dressing -1 $2/1 kool-aid

Tangy Ranch Chicken

I made some amazing chicken tonight! This was super yummy, and easy - everyone had seconds. Best of all, it uses two very common coupon foods - mustard and ranch dressing! Tangy Ranch Chicken Ingredients: -2/3 cup ranch dressing -1/3 cup yellow mustard -1/4 cup brown sugar -4 boneless skinless chicken breasts Directions: Mix dressing, mustard, and sugar. Pour 2/3 cup sauce over chicken. Marinate chicken in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Grill chicken 10-15 minutes until done, OR bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Serve remaining mustard sauce with chicken. Enjoy!
