The Perfect You

The Perfect You: A Blueprint for Identity by Dr. Caroline Leaf is an extremely unique book. It promises to help you unlock the unique design God has given you and help you to live up to your full potential. The book description says:

"There are a lot of personality and intelligence tests out there designed to label you and put you in a particular box. But Dr. Caroline Leaf says there's much more to you than a personality profile can capture. In fact, you cannot be categorized!

In this fascinating book, she takes readers through seven steps to rediscover and unlock their unique design--the brilliantly original way each person thinks, feels, relates, and makes choices--freeing them from comparison, envy, and jealousy, which destroy brain tissue. Readers learn to be aware of what's going on in their own minds and bodies, to lean in to their own experience rather than trying to forcefully change it, and to redefine what success means to them. Released from the suffocating box of expectations, they'll embrace their true identity and develop a clear sense of divine purpose in their lives.

Knowing and understanding our identity empowers our choices. Unlocking one's you quotient is not optional--it is essential."

I can't stress how insightful and interesting this book is. I won't lie, it's definitely not an easy read. It's a very dense book that is at times difficult to read. It includes advanced scientific and technical ideas and topics which are fascinating to read about. It's just jam-packed with research and information and I read it slowly so I could take it all in. It includes the full Unique Qualitative (UQ) Test. This is a HUGE test. It takes quite a bit of time and effort to get through, but it is well worth the effort. I highly recommend this book to anyone who really wants to learn more about themselves, the newest science on brain function, and more.

I received a copy of this book from Baker Books in order to provide an honest and unbiased review. All opinions are my own.
