One Nation Without Law

One Nation Without Law is Phil Hotsenpiller's eagle-eyed and insightful look at America's increasing lawlessness and chaos. It immediately called to mind 2 Timothy 3:1-3 -
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,". The back cover says:

"A rising tide of lawlessness is sweeping the world.

The daily reports of evil and injustice are growing in number and intensity, causing most of us to freeze in fear or sink into hopelessness. But did you know all this was foretold? And that you can still live a life of hope?

In these pages, pastor and end-times expert Phil Hotsenpiller will help you begin to connect the dots between biblical prophecy about lawlessness and current events. As you begin to see God's perspective, you can--and will--see what purpose these struggles serve in His plans. You'll be able to confront your fears and frustrations, gain a hopeful outlook for the future and move forward with confidence, because God is still in control. Here are practical, everyday ways you can respond with faith, hope and love to the daily lawlessness you see around you--and make our world a better place until the return of Jesus Christ.

"Both a prophetic warning and an inspiring call to action. A must-read."--ERICK STAKELBECK, host, TBN's The Watchman show; director, Christians United for Israel's Watchman Project

"An excellent and inspiring read!"--WARD L. SMITH, chief of police (ret.), Placentia (California) Police Department

"A remarkable piece of work!"--MICHAEL P. CHENÉ, colonel (ret.), United States Marine Corps

Phil Hotsenpiller is a pastor and expert in the field of end-time prophecy. He has been interviewed on the subject of Armageddon and the post-apocalyptic world by various media outlets, including the Washington Post, USA Today, CNN, the Christian Post, the Telegraph and Fox News. He lives with his wife, Tammy, in Orange County, California, where he serves as senior pastor of Influence Church."

I can't overstate how much I loved this book! Phil writes in such a compelling and interesting style that I couldn't stop turning the pages. Although the subject matter is at times rather discouraging/scary, he manages to keep the tone hopeful and always points to Christ as our sole source of hope and peace. He also lays out practical ways Christians can live as a light to the world in these dark days. The stories he tells are fascinating and the research he's done is extremely informative. I highly, highly recommend that every Christian living in America reads this book and heeds its warning and its call to live a Christ-centered, hope-filled life.
