Dr. Daniel G. Amen, M.D. has published a revised and expanded edition of his New York Times Bestseller, Change Your Brain Change Your Life: The Breakthrough Program for Conquering Anxiety, Depression, Obsessiveness, Lack of Focus, Anger, and Memory Problems. The book is updated and new material has been added since the original book was published in 1998. It's divided into three parts: How Imaging Changes Everything, Know and Heal the Brain Systems That Run Your Life, and The Brain Warrior's Way. The back cover reads:

Change Your Brain, Change Your Life is an absolutely fascinating, incredible, exhaustive look at the human brain: what makes it tick, the latest science and research, and how we can literally change and heal our own brains. I was glued to each page as I learned more and more about the brain and how it works. I have suffered with anxiety, panic attacks, and depression for years and am always looking for natural ways to help these issues. This is the most exciting book I've ever read on the subject. I can't wait to try some of the tips and suggestions Dr. Amen gives. I would call this book the definitive work on the subject of the brain and mental health. I highly recommend it to anyone who either struggles with their mental health, wants to actively fight against Alzheimer's Disease and dementia, or just wants to learn more about the human brain. Five stars.

I received a copy of this book from Blogging For Books in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
